Happy Wheels has arrived just as the alarming and sacrilegious demise of Flash is imminent—a truly nerve-wracking development. We apologize for any inconvenience caused and hope that the anxiety over losing Happy Wheels hasn't disturbed your sleep. If you weren’t aware that this game was in development, here’s some good news for you. As this is the initial public release, please bear with us as we work to fix any remaining bugs. Although I personally still favor Flash, what I appreciate about this new version is its excellent performance on mobile devices. Currently, however, on-screen mobile controls are not available in this release—but they will be included in the next update. Thank you for your patience. If you’re eager to try it out on your phone, pairing a Bluetooth keyboard works very well. While I initially mentioned that the game would run at 60 frames per second, some of the more challenging levels may run slightly slower at that rate. Fortunately, a setting allows you to adjust performance, and I am considering hosting a dedicated 60Hz version on a separate page for users with more powerful CPUs. The rest of Happy Wheels JS remains faithful to the original in both design and gameplay. The user database, levels, and replays have been preserved since the initial release. The only thing gone is the impending doom threatening the universe. To play, use the arrow keys to move left and right, and press space to jump.
