Pinocchio

Pinocchio is a fictional character and the main protagonist of Carlo Collodi's children's novel *The Adventures of Pinocchio* (1883). Crafted from wood by a talented woodcarver named Geppetto in a village near Lucca, Pinocchio begins his life as a wooden puppet with hopes of becoming a real boy.
