That's right—the globally renowned, or should I say, famous Chef Alex himself selected ME to be his apprentice! Can you believe it? Just a year ago, I was thrilled to land a gig as the official “wiener steamer” at my town’s annual hot dog eating—and new cooking games—contest (to be honest, the last three winners had their wieners steamed by none other than me). Wow, I didn’t quite say that out loud. Oh well... after all, nobody's really going to read this someone’s secret cooking diary anyway...
